“Despise not humble beginnings”….is Maoris’ life quote and what drives her passion to build secure financial futures for people of all economic backgrounds.  This is because Maoris can personally relate.  Coming from a large family with limited resources, these experiences developed in Maoris a heart for helping others.  After attaining her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Indiana University, Bloomington, IN, Maoris has been busy working with non-profit organizations, governments, and the local community to ensure financial accountability following local, state, and federal laws.  

During her 19-year tenure, Maoris has volunteered as a career representative to teach financial principles to school-age children, worked with the CPA State Society to build diversity in the Accounting field, and served as a resource for many community members and church leaders to offer advice on financial principles.  The collective of Maoris’ experiences led her to found Green Acres Financial Group in 2015.  

Through Green Acres, Maoris is passionate about educating people, especially working adults, on preparing for their financial future during retirement so that wealth can continue to accumulate in the family across generations. Maoris has assisted individuals with financial planning for families, with retirees, and obtaining long-term life insurance for individuals, families, and the elderly.  

Maoris is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of Indiana and Illinois and is also a licensed Life Insurance Agent in the State of Indiana, Illinois, and Michigan.  “One size does not fit all when you’re planning your financial future,” says Maoris Green, and she is eager to assist her clientele in finding the path applicable to them.
